Board member of the special interest group Systems Thinking for Information Professionals of KNVI, the Dutch association of information professionals. Former chair of the advisory board of Sociocracy For All. Worked as consultant and trainer at Malik Management St. Gallen, and before that in consultative sales and training in financial services. Studied history and politics in Leiden, Berlin and Aix-en-Provence.
Ed van der Winden

Enterprise and organisation architect since 1988, specialised in IT for municipalities and the public sector. Chair of SCiO-NL (Systems and Complexity in Organisation). Board member of the Governance group and of the Systems Thinking for Information Professionals group of KNVI, the Dutch association of information professionals. He wrote “Waarom gaan dingen nou nooit eens een beetje vanzelf?” (2017), about organisations and the cybernetics behind them. His publications on governance include a co-authored article on climate governance in Systemic Practice and Action Research (2025). Studied computer science at TU Delft.
