When you write to us, we process your name, your email address and what you tell us, only to reply and, if you want, to prepare possible work together. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site, the hosting provider (statichost.eu in Sweden, with servers at Hetzner in the EU) processes technical data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

We use no cookies, analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services. The fonts are served from this site itself. To pick a language on your first visit, the site looks at your browser's language setting and time zone. That check happens in your browser; nothing is sent to us. If you choose a language, that choice is kept in your own browser (local storage) so the site opens in that language next time. It is not sent to us.

Only Vincent van der Lubbe and, where needed for your enquiry, Ed van der Winden read your messages. Our processors are the hosting provider (statichost.eu in Sweden, with servers at Hetzner in the EU) and our email service: INWX (Berlin, Germany), which forwards messages to Gmail (Google, USA; certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We do not sell or share data with anyone else.

We keep your emails as long as needed to answer your enquiry, and at most two years after our last contact, unless we work together or the law requires us to keep them longer.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, by writing to hello@criticallycoupled.com. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
